Abstract

Predlagano je bilo, da je vrstni red pridevnikov posledica prirojene hierarhije slovničnih projekcij (Cinque 2014), ki gostijo različne pridevniške kategorije. Če teorija drži, usvajanje pridevnikov pri otrocih poteka v nasprotnem vrstnem redu hierarhiji, saj otrok stavčno zgradbo pridobiva od najnižje projekcije k najvišji (Radford 1996). Diplomska naloga predstavlja rezultate primerjave rabe pridevnikov kategorij velikost, barva in oblika v govoru staršev in otrok. Rezultati kažejo, da si v govoru otrok te kategorije sledijo v zaporedju, ki ga je predlagal Scott (2002).

Secondary language: English
Secondary title: Adjective use among the youngest speakers
Secondary abstract: It was suggested that adjective ordering is due to an innate hierarchy of grammatical projections (Cinque 2014) which host different adjectival categories. If the theory holds, adjective acquisition runs in the opposite order of the hierarchy, since children acquire the sentence structure from the lowest projection to the highest (Radford 1996). The thesis presents the results of a comparison of the use of adjectives belonging to the categories size, color and shape in parental and children's speech. The results show that in the children’s speech, these categories follow in the sequence proposed by Scott (2002).
