diplomsko delo
Abstract

Users` awarness about phishing on the social network site Facebook |
Secondary abstract: |
Phishing represents a specific type of a cyberattack, in which an attacker acquires the sensitive information of a potential target, either via e-mail or a malicious website. The main goal of this Bachelor's thesis was to research, to which level do users of social platforms become victims of phishing. In this Bachelor's thesis we focused on Facebook as the largest social platform. In our research we focused on acquiring information whether the users have knowledge regarding phishing and if they implement safety precautions that are being introduced in the media. For latter reasons an experimental and empirical method were used as a base in the thesis. Regarding the experimental method, we decided to use a fake prize pool game, and the results were far from expected, as a small amount of contestants was present. Through our analysis we concluded, that users awareness is high in regards to phishing. Nevertheless, taking additional security precautions should be a priority in the battle with cyber crime. |
