Abstract
Za določitev razvoja požara in določitev poteka požara, je potrebno poznati veliko število parametrov, nekateri izmed teh parametrov so povezani s karakteristiko stavbe. Določitev glavne karakteristike, požarne obtežbe za določen objekt je funkcija dejavnosti in se jo določa kot statistično porazdelitev. Pri izbruhu požara predstavljata nevarnost za uporabnike objektov in premoženje dim in toplota. Oba pojava imata dobro lastnost, da ju lahko zaznajo elementi protipožarne zaščite. Za preprečitev požara v prostoru je zato potrebno primerno projektiranje objektov in poznavanje vseh parametrov, ki vplivajo na razvoj in potek požara, ter primeren gasilni sistem za določeno vrsto požara.

We have to be familiar with vast number of parameters when trying to determine phases of a fire and it's course, some of these parameters are connected with building's characteristics. Main building characteristic, that is fire load is a function of activity and is established as an statistical distribution. When the fire errupts the main concerns we have is the safety of people and property in building, which is endangered by smoke and heat. These two phenomenons are easily traced by the elements of fire protection. For successful prevention of occuring fires, it is crucial that the engineer in charge of designing building is familiar with all the important parameters which influences the fire course and it's development. And engineer must also choose the correct fire prevention system for the building. |
