Abstract

Secondary title: The impact of late employment of young women on starting their own family
Secondary abstract: Starting a family in modern societies is increasingly left to various factors, which are no longer the same for every individual, as they were in the past. Today this is a life project that follows a predetermined plan that is dependent on each individual and not on social expectations. The life course is no longer as standardized, and it is increasingly detraditionalized. Young adults deliberately extend their education process due to their poor experience in the labor market and because of the increasing desire to exploit their youth. An acquired employment after a lifetime embedded in the education system brings some financial stability, which has become increasingly appreciated among young adults in terms of starting a family. Obtaining an employment however, can be quite lengthy and tiring on young adults after they have finished their education, and consequently the unfavorable financial and housing background has also negative impacts on starting a family. Women are even more exposed here, since the period of getting their first job is also the period of starting a family, which additionally has a negative impact on their competitive opportunities in the labor market.
