Ferdo Gestrin in Bogo Grafenauer, akademika, člana Slovenske akademije znanosti in umetnosti

Abstract

Ferdo Gestrin in Bogo Grafenauer sta postala člana Slovenske akademije znanosti in umetnosti zaradi svojega izjemnega in kontinuiranega znanstvenega dela. V Akademiji sta opravljala različne naloge in funkcije. Pri Grafenauerju velja izpostaviti njegovo vlogo pri krepitvi sodelovanja SAZU z jugoslovanskimi akademijami znanosti in umetnosti in vodenju komisije za pravopis, pri Gestrinu pa njegovo vlogo pri statusnem preoblikovanju ZRC SAZU v javni raziskovalni zavod.

Secondary abstract:	Ferdo Gestrin and Bogo Grafenauer became members of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts due to their outstanding and continuous scientific work. At the Academy, they performed different tasks and held different positions. It is worth drawing attention to Grafenauer’s role in strengthening the cooperation of the Academy with Yugoslav academies of sciences and arts, and his leading role in the commission for Slovenian Normative Guide, while Gestrin is most noteworthy for his role in the transformation of the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Art into a public research institute.
