Abstract
Turizem je eden izmed rastočih gospodarskih sektorjev tako v Sloveniji kot drugod po svetu. Pri tem eno izmed ključnih turističnih zvrsti predstavlja kulturni turizem. Je oblika turizma, ki se osredotoča na spoznavanje in doživljanje kulturne ponudbe v destinaciji. Za vračanje obiskovalcev je treba graditi na njihovi pozitivni izkušnji, kar pripomore k razvoju zvestobe.
V delu se bomo osredotočili na kulturno ponudbo v mestu Maribor z okolico, mariborsko destinacijsko kartico Maribor City Card ter ti skušali povezati na praktičnem primeru Botaničnega vrta Univerze v Mariboru. V njem zasledimo stalno razstavo rastlinskih vrst in občasne dogodke, povezane s kulturo.
Z analizo rezultatov anketiranja smo ugotovili, da je poznavanje koncepta destinacijskih kartic slabo in da je premalo sodelovanja Botaničnega vrta Univerze v Mariboru z drugimi kulturnimi ustanovami v regiji.

Tourism is currently one of the growing industries in both Slovenia and the rest of the world. One of the key parts tourism offer is cultural tourism, which focuses on learning and experiencing cultural offer in a destination. For repeating visits, it is necessary to build on tourists' positive experience, which contributes to the devepolpent of loyalty.
We shall focus on the cultural offer of the city of Maribor and its surroundings, the destination loyalty card Maribor City Card and try to connect these on a practical example of the Botanical Garden of the University of Maribor. The botanical garden offers a pernament plant species exibition and occasional cultural events.
By analyzing the results of the opinion poll, we found out that there was a poor knowledge of the destination cards concept and that there was insufficient cooperation between the Botanical Garden of the University of Maribor and other cultural institutions in the region. |
