Abstract

Secondary abstract: Thesis was created in cooperation with the company Talum Izparilniki d.o.o., which it produces flat Roll-Bond thermal heat exchangers. Subject of the thesis is to find suitable technology for making holes in channel system of a Roll-Bond panels in needs of serial production. Within the practical part of the task, a hole cut test was performed on a CO2 laser machine and on a CNC milling machine. It was found that the use of a laser is not apropriate for cutting holes in the Roll-Bond panels. Also, the economic efficiency of the laser is unjustified. Cutting with a milling cutter has turned out as a much better solution. In our case, it is also technologically and economicaly more efficient.
