Abstract

V diplomski nalogi je bila preverjena ustreznost izbire materiala valjčnic v peči za predgrevanje aluminijastih drogov. Izvedena je bila toplotna in konstrukcijska analiza trenutnega stanja ter mikrostrukturna karakterizacija materiala iz katerega so narejene valjčnice. Analiza materiala je razkrila dvofazno mikrostrukturo v kateri se avstenitna matica pojavlja v obliki dendritov, v meddentritnem prostoru pa se nahaja δ-ferit. Analiziran je bil tudi vpliv δ-ferita ter drugih mikrostrukturnih elementov na obrabno odpornost valjčnic.

Secondary title: Selection of materials for rollers in preheating furnaces
Secondary abstract: In the thesis, the suitability of the selection of material for rollers in preheating furnaces for aluminium billets was checked. We performed a thermal and structural analysis of the current state and the microstructural characterization of the material of the rollers. The material analysis revealed the two-phase microstructure in which the austenitic matrix appears in the form of dendrites and δ-ferrite in the interdendritic region. The influence of δ-ferrite and other microstructural elements on the wear resistance of the rollers was also analysed.
