Abstract

Uporaba lepil je v današnjem času v strojni industriji v velikem porastu. Naredili smo primerjavo spojev, ki so bili varjeni, lepljeni z dvema lepilom in kombinacijo obeh tehnik spajanja glede na trdnostne lastnosti. Uporabljene so bile polimerne plošče iz materiala ABS, debeline 3 in 4 mm. Vzorci so bili podvrženi natezno - strižnemu preizkusu. Ugotovili smo, da so lepljeni spoji z ustreznim lepilom trdnostno primerljivi z ultrazvočno varjenimi spoji. Pri hibridnih spojih smo ugotovili, da je potrebno uporabiti lepilo z dovolj visoko temperaturno obstojnostjo.

Secondary title: Comparison of load bearing capacity of polymer joints made by ultrasonic welding and /or adhesive bronding
Secondary abstract: The application of adhesives in hardware industry has been on a sharp increase. We carried out a comparison of the joints that were welded, glued with two adhesives and a combination of both techniques, depending on the strength properties of the merge. They were used on ABS polymer materials that were 3 and 4 mm thick. The samples were subjected to a tensile-shear stress test. We found that joints glued with suitable adhesive are strength comparable with ultrasonic welded joints. In the case of hybrid joints, we found that it is necessary to apply an adhesive with a sufficiently high temperature stability.
