Abstract
Internet stvari velja za eno najhitreje rastočih tehnoloških področij na svetu, saj predstavlja ključno komponento avtomatizacije industrije; prav tako se vrednost interneta stvari pozna v družbi in okolju. S hitrim razvojem interneta stvari so se razvile platforme, ki omogočajo kvalitetnejši in hitrejši razvoj. V tem delu smo pregledali področje IoT in platforme, ki jih ponuja. Obširneje smo preučili odprtokodno platformo Eclipse IoT. Zanimalo nas je, kaj platforma ponuja, katere projekte vključuje in katere standarde le-ti implementirajo. Z razvojem lastne rešitve smo preizkusili razvoj v okolju Eclipse IoT in preverili, kako aktivno se vključeni projekti razvijajo; preverili smo tudi kvaliteto dokumentacije.

Internet of Things is believed to be on of the fastest growing areas in technology in the world. Internet of Things is also a key component of automation in the industry while also having a huge impact on society and the environment. Because of the fast growth platforms were developed that allow for faster and higher quality development of Internet of Things solutions. In this paper we looked at the state of Internet of Things and the platforms it has to offer. We broadly researched the Eclipse IoT open-source platform. We wanted to know which standards the platform implements and what the platform offers. We also developed our own smart solution so that we could test the Eclipse IoT's development and see how active their community is and the quality of the documentation. |
