Secondary abstract: | In this final thesis is presented the proof of concept for a blind spot detection system. We have described non-contact distance measurement sensors such as radar and IR sensors. In addition we have broken down different methods for distance and velocity measurements, used in non-contact sensors. Finally, we have described an experiment for testing characteristics of prototype measurement system and presented a basic alghoritm for detection of vehicle in blind spot. |
