Abstract

Menjava kovinskih nosilnih elementov s polimernimi je vse pogostejša v številnih inženirskih aplikacijah. V sklopu diplomskega dela obravnavamo ohišje merilnega inštrumenta, narejenega iz polifenilnega sulfida in steklenih vlaken, ki mora biti odporno na visoke tlake. Cilj naloge je izdelati ohišje, ki bo preneslo čim višje tlačne obremenitve, s spreminjanjem izdelovalnih parametrov injekcijskega brizganja. Pri tem smo se omejili predvsem na vpliv naknadnega tlaka do maksimalno 80 MPa. Vzorci, izdelani pri različnih nadtlakih, so bili testirani do porušitve. Najboljše rezultate smo dobili pri naknadnem tlaku 65 MPa.

Secondary abstract: Replacement of metal load-bearing elements with polymeric ones is nowadays increasingly common in many engineering applications. This thesis deals with a housing of a measuring instrument made out of polyphenyl sulphide and glass fibers, which must be resistant to high pressures. The goal was to make a housing that will hold the maximal pressure load, by changing the process parameters of injection molding. The study was limited to changing the holding pressures up to 80 MPa. Samples of the housings that were prepared at various holding pressures were tested up to destruction. The best results were obtained at a holding pressure of 65 MPa.
