Abstract

Z raziskavo smo želeli ugotoviti vpliv biooglja kot izboljševalca tal na lastnosti tal in kot zastirke na pridelek paprike in česna. Biooglje smo izdelali po principu počasne pirolize. Polovico biooglja smo nasitili z govejo gnojevko, polovico pa pustili nenasičenega. Postavili smo poljski poskus, ki je bil sestavljen v bločni zasnovi iz šestih obravnavanj s tremi ponovitvami. Poskus je bil zasnovan v dveh delih. V prvem delu smo posadili papriko sorte 'Bagoly F1' v drugem delu česen sorte 'Gardacho'. V prvem delu smo rastline zastrli z dvema zastirkama iz nasičenega in dvema iz nenasičenega biooglja. Kontrola sta bili zastirka iz folije in tla brez zastirke. V drugem delu smo eno od zastirk iz nasičenega in nenasičenega biooglja zadelali v tla (16 t/ha) in posadili česen. Med rastno dobo smo vzorčili tla za analize in pobirali pridelek. Iz opravljenih analiz smo ugotovili, da se je z vnosom nasičenega biooglja povečala vsebnost nitratnega dušika, fosforja in kalija v tleh. Biooglje je v manjši meri vplivalo na zbitosti tal in povečano sposobnost zadrževanja vode v tleh. V obravnavanjih z nenasičenim bioogljem se je pH vrednost tal najbolj povečala (za 0,2). Povprečen pridelek paprike na zastirki z nasičenim bioogljem je bil 41,1 t/ha, pri nenasičenem biooglju 24,2 t/ha. Zadelava nasičenega biooglja je vplivala na zmanjšanje pridelka česna (15,2 t/ha), v primerjavi z nezadelavo (16,8 t/ha). Zadelava nenasičenega biooglja ni imela vpliva na pridelek česna v primerjavi z nenasičeno zastirko iz biooglja (13,6 t/ha in 12,8 t/ha).

Secondary title: Influence of biochar as mulch and soil amendment on soil properties and crop yield of bell pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) and garlic (Allium sativum L.)
Secondary abstract: The aim of this research was find biochar effect, as amandment on soil properties and as mulch, on crop yield of bell pepper and garlic. Biochar was made by slow pyrolysis. Half of this biochar were activated with cattle slurry, half were non-activated. We tested it as field experiment with six treatments in three repetations. Experiment was designed in two parts. In first part, we planted bell pepper 'Bagoly' F1 and garlic 'Gardacho' in second. In first part we mulched plants with activated biochar (two treatments) non-activated biochar (two treatments), polyethilene mulch and no mulch. In second part we incorporated 16 t/ha of biochar from one biochar (activated/non-activated) treatment, when the other stayed as mulch. Than we planted garlic. Meanwhile growing season we took samples for analyzing soil properties and harvest crop. Results of analyses confirm that activated biochar had influence on increase of soil nitrate, phosphorus and potassium. Biochar also had influence on soil density and retention of water. Non-activated bio char increased soil pH (0,2). Average yield of pepper was 41 t/ha on activated biochar mulch and 24,2 t/ha on non-activated biochar mulch. Incorporation of activated biochar influenced on decrease of garlic yield (15,2 t/ha) compared with not input biochar (16,8 t/ha). Input of non-activated biochar in soil not effected on crop yield of garlic (13,6 and 12,8 t/ha).
