Abstract

Ti otroci so bili stari 10 in 11 let.

Secondary title: Influence of motor abilities on effectiveness of learning alpine skiing
Secondary abstract: The thesis Influence of motor abilities on effectiveness of learning alpine skiing consists of theoretical and empirical part. Its objective is to present how the 5th grade students improve their alpine skiing skills during ski lessons organized by school, according to their motor abilities. Motor abilities and their general characteristics were presented in theoretical part; we focused on motor abilities, needed to learn alpine skiing and observed the factors that influence the effectiveness of learning alpine skiing, especially during ski lessons organized by school. We described the development and techniques of alpine skiing and presented the service scheme of Slovenian national ski school for 2017-2018. We presented and analysed the results and data in empirical part of the thesis, the study relied on causal non-experimental method. The non-probability sample consisted of 42 fifth grade students from Primary school Primož Trubar Laško and its two subsidiaries Debro and Šentrupert. The students were 10 and 11 years old. We used quantitative technique of data collection and tested motor abilities and ski knowledge. The results confirmed the assumed hypothesis that the students with better motor abilities are more successful at learning alpine skiing than the students with lower motor abilities. These findings show that motor abilities influence the effectiveness of learning alpine skiing.
