Abstract

V diplomski nalogi smo se seznanili z diagrami ter za katere namene se uporabljajo pri razvoju informacijskih rešitev oz. programske opreme. Danes vse več ljudi uporablja diagrame UML (Unified modeling language) za modeliranje različnih sistemov. Ti diagrami pripomorejo k boljšemu načrtovanju programske opreme, zato so med razvijalci zelo priljubljeni. S pomočjo ankete smo ugotovili, da so v praksi najbolj pogosto uporabljeni razredni diagrami, sledijo pa diagrami primerov uporabe, diagrami aktivnosti in diagrami zaporedja. Diagrami se največkrat uporabljajo za vizualizacijo in strukturo sistemov, generiranje kode, povratno inženirstvo in izdelavo projektne dokumentacije. Najpogosteje uporabljeno modelirno orodje pa je Visual Paradigm.

Secondary abstract: In the diploma thesis, we will get acquainted with the diagrams and for what purposes they are used in the development of information solutions or commonly known as software. Today more and more people are using UML (Unified modeling language) diagrams for modeling different systems. These diagrams contribute to better software design and therefore are very popular between developers. With the help of the survey, we found that in practice the most commonly used are class diagrams, followed by use case diagrams, activity diagrams and sequence diagrams. This diagrams are most often used for visualization and structure of systems, code generation, reverse engineering and to make project documentation. The most commonly used modeling tool is Visual Paradigm.
