Abstract

Ovce so zelo razširjena vrsta domačih živali, prav zaradi tega poznamo veliko število različnih pasem. Pramenka je skupina pasem ovc, ki ima razmeroma dolgo volno, je odporna in lažje prilagodljiva na slabše razmere. Tudi med pramenkami najdemo razlike, zato so pramenke razdeljene na posamezne pasme. V diplomskem delu smo na kratko predstavili različne pasme pramenk na Balkanskem polotoku, saj se med seboj zelo razlikujejo. Vključenih je osem držav, in sicer Slovenija, Hrvaška, Bosna in Hercegovina, Srbija, Črna Gora, Albanija, Kosovo in Republika Severna Makedonija. Pri pregledu literature smo zasledili 34 različnih pasem pramenk, ki so razširjene v zgoraj navedenih državah.

Secondary title: Characteristics of different breeds of Pramenka sheep in the Balkan Peninsula
Secondary abstract: Sheep are one of the most widespread species of domestic animals, which is why we are familiar with a large number of different breeds. Pramenka is a group of sheep breed with relatively long wool. This group of sheep is resistant and they easily adapt to worse conditions. There are differences between pramenka sheep therefore, they are divided into individual breeds. In the B.Sc. thesis it will be briefly presented different breeds of pramenka sheep in the Balkan Peninsula,since the breeds differ substantially from one another. It is included eight countries: Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo and Republic of Northern Macedonia. In examined literature we found 37 different breeds of pramenka sheep that are known in countries mentioned above.
