diplomsko delo
Abstract
Pridobljene podatke smo nato analizirali s pomočjo programa SPSS.

The effect of daily exercises at the workplace over a period of 6 weeks |
Secondary abstract: |
Today, people spend more time in a seated position, and the number of sedentary jobs is increasing. The consequences of prolonged sitting are poor body posture, risk of developing various musculoskeletal disorders and chronic non-contagious diseases. These problems can be alleviated or prevented by performing regular physical activity and reducing long sitting periods. In the diploma thesis we determined how exercising daily over a period of 6 weeks at the workplace affects some of the workers’ motor skills, mainly their mobility and power. The survey involved 20 participants, with an average age of 27.65 ± 5.04 years. They all do office work, and most of them also have a sedentary lifestyle in general. Participants performed motion tests to obtain information about their abilities. They were divided then into a measurement (10 participants) and control (10 participants) group, with the measurement group performing a 6-week workout program at the workplace. At the end of the program we performed the tests again. The obtained data were then analysed using the SPSS program. The average value between the two groups was determined with the multifactorial covalence analysis. We found that the training program had a positive effect on the shoulder girdle and hip mobility, strength of the stabilization muscles of the hips, knees and ankles, and partly the strength of the stabilization muscles of the body. Based on the results we can say that exercising at the workplace has a positive effect on the human motion system, and we therefore recommend it to anyone who sits for long periods of time and would like to improve their health. |
