Abstract

Zato sem v okviru diplomske naloge analiziral tudi zrnavost miniranega materiala v Kamnolomu Kamna Gorica in strojno pridobljenega materiala v Kamnolomu Lukovica. Poleg analize zrnavosti vzorcev neznanih frakcij sem želel pri vzorcih znanih frakcij preveriti ujemanje zrnavostnih krivulj, dobljenih s pomočjo programa Split Desktop in mokre sejalne analize.

Secondary title: Analysis of granulometry of slope scree using image analysis
Secondary abstract: The earth's surface is constantly changing. In the hilly world, the slope flowing mass is one of the most common forms of surface transformation among which also landslide is included. In this graduation thesis, the granulometry of slote on the scree lying directly above the Urbas landslide, which is located, near the Potoška planina has been analysed. The granulometric analysis of slote scree has been carried out using digital image processing for determining particle size distribution in the Split Desktop programme. The Split Desktop programme was otherwise principally developed for the control and determination of partical size distribution of muckpile in quarries. Therefore, the granulometry of muckpile in Kamna Gorica quarry and machine-generated material in Lukovica quarry has also been analysed in this graduation thesis. In addition to the granulomteric analysis of samples of unknown fractions, I have wanted to check the matching of size distribution curves obtained by Split Desktop and the sieving method analysis in the samples of known fractions. On the basis of the analysis made in this thesis, I have established that the program is very useful for determining the granulometry of muckpile and machine-generated material, as well as the slope talus. At the same time, it has been shown that the program is not the most appropriate for determining the granulometry of samples containing a large amount of fines and samples with dominant extremely small range of particle size distribution. In this field, I have thus proposed upgrades for the next versions of Split Desktop programme.
