Abstract

Namen diplomske naloge je predstaviti principe delovanja, natančnost in uporabnost inercialnih navigacijskih sistemov. Predstavljeni so postopki za izboljšanje kakovosti koordinat, posebej v kombinaciji z GNSS. Na praktičnem primeru sta preizkušeni in predstavljeni uporabnosti in natančnosti določitve položaja z uporabo nizkocenovnega inercialnega senzorja v pametnem telefonu. Na osnovi analize smo potrdili uporabnost nizkocenovnih senzorjev za potrebe orientacije v prostoru in uporabo v panogah geodezije, kjer je potrebna manjša natančnost določitve položaja.

Secondary language: English
Secondary title: Analysis of the use of inertial navigation systems in geodesy
Secondary abstract: Purpose of this graduation thesis is presentation of principles of operation, accuracy and usefulness of inertial navigation systems. Presented are also procedures for improving the quality of coordinates, specifically in connection with GNSS. With the use of low-cost inertial sensors in a smart phone, usability and precision are tested and presented on practical cases. We showed that low-cost sensors are suitable for providing orientation data but can not be used in surveying and related disciplines.
