Abstract

V teoretičnem delu smo s pomočjo literature opredelili kulturno-umetnostno vzgojo, njene cilje in načela ter se v nadaljevanju osredotočili na likovno umetnost in njeno pedagoško vrednost v okviru področja umetnosti v vrtcu. Predstavili smo muzejsko pedagogiko ter oblike in metode dela, ki se pojavljajo znotraj nje. Kot primer dobre prakse smo izbrali in predstavili Umetnostno galerijo Maribor in pedagoške programe, ki jih ponujajo za populacijo predšolskih otrok, ter koncept dejavnosti, prek katerih približajo umetnost oziroma posamezno razstavo otrokom. V empiričnem delu smo želeli ugotoviti, v kolikšni meri se mariborski vrtci vključujejo v pedagoške programe Umetnostne galerije Maribor in kakšni so vzroki za udeležbo oziroma neudeležbo v njih. Podatke smo dobili s pomočjo anketnih vprašalnikih v vrtcih mariborske regije. Vzorec, ki smo ga uporabili, je ne slučajnostni iz konkretne populacije in je zajel devetinštirideset vzgojiteljev in vzgojiteljic. Pridobljene podatke smo analizirali in jih prikazali v obliki preglednic. Prav tako smo opravili nestrukturiran intervju z višjo kustosinjo v Umetnostni galeriji Maribor Brigito Strnad, ki skrbi za pedagoške programe, namenjene predšolskim otrokom. S tem smo želeli zajeti pogled in mnenja še z druge perspektive ter interpretirati nekatere odgovore iz anketnih vprašalnikov.

Secondary abstract: In the theoretical part, cultural and artistic education, its goals and principles were defined with the help of literature. In the following, the thesis focused on fine art and its pedagogical value in the field of art in kindergarten. The museum pedagogy, the forms and the methods of work that appear in its context were presented. As an example of good practice the Maribor Art Gallery and the pedagogical programmes that it offers to the population of preschool children and the concept of activities, through which they bring art or an individual exhibition to children, were selected and presented. In the empirical part, the extent to which Maribor kindergartens are included in the pedagogical programmes of the Maribor Art Gallery and what the reasons for participation or non-participation in them are, were determined. The data was obtained using questionnaires in kindergartens of the Maribor region. A non-random sample from the specific population which included 49 male and female educators was used. The obtained data was analysed and displayed in tables. An unstructured interview with a senior curator at the Maribor Art Gallery, Brigita Strnad, who takes care of pedagogical programmes intended for pre-school children was also done. The aim was to get the view and opinions from another perspective and to interpret some of the answers from the questionnaires.
