Abstract

Vesoljski turizem postaja v današnjem času vse bolj priljubljen, saj se izvaja vse več raziskav in v zvezi s tem je vse več povpraševanja. Turistična potovanja v vesolje so se pred nekaj desetletji zdela še nemogoča, a danes je popolnoma drugače. Vse več je špekulacij in načrtovanj, kako se bo v naslednjih letih potovalo v vesolje. Glavni akterji pri načrtovanju le-tega so zdaj že svetovno znane zasebne organizacije za vesoljski turizem, ki že vrsto let načrtujejo, da bi izvedle prvo potovanje v vesolje, kar bi na tem področju predstavljalo prelomnico. Zaradi vse večje priljubljenosti omenjene vrste turizma nas je zanimalo, kako bodo vesoljska potovanja izgledala v prihodnosti in predvsem, kako bo to potekalo v praksi. Prav tako nas je zanimalo, ali tudi Slovenija prispeva k razvoju vesoljskega turizma, ter ali obstajajo turistični produkti, povezani z vesoljskim turizmom, tudi na slovenskih tleh. Analiza podatkov je pokazala, da vesoljski turizem iz leta v leto napreduje, kot tudi tehnologija za potovanje v vesolje. Prav tako smo spoznali, da je v Sloveniji še veliko prostora za promocijo vesoljskega turizma in za ustvarjanje turističnih produktov, povezanih s to vrsto v turizma.

Secondary abstract: Space tourism is becoming more and more popular in today's world, as many surveys and inquiries have been carried out in this regard. Tourist trips to space were far from possible a few decades ago, but this has changed, and today it is completely different. Speculation and planning are growing on how to travel to space in the coming years. The main actors in planning tourist trips to space are now the world known private space tourism organizations that have been planning the first journey to space for many years to make a turning point in tourism. Due to the popularity of this type of tourism, we were interested in how space travel would look like in the future and how these trips will look like in practice. We were also interested in whether Slovenia also contributes to the development of space tourism, and if there are tourism products related to space tourism also on Slovenian ground. After analyzing the data, we discovered that space tourism is progressing year after year and so does the technology for space travel.We also learned that there is still plenty of space for the promotion of space tourism and the creation of tourism products related to space tourism in Slovenia.
