Abstract
Stres je v današnjem času prisoten v vsakdanu posameznika. Naš tempo življenja je vse hitrejši in vse večje zahteve prihajajo od različnih dejavnikov v okolici. Je ena večjih zdravju škodljivih nevarnosti sodobnega časa. Vzroki za nastanek stresa se pojavljajo tako doma kakor tudi v službi. Možni razlogi za stres na delovnem mestu so lahko neurejene delovne razmere, prevelika ali premajhna obremenjenost, organizacijski dejavniki ali celo nadlegovanje ali nasilje na delovnem mestu.
Poznamo več vrst stresa, in sicer naravni ali umetni stres. Različni avtorji so stres predstavili po različnih modelih, v katerih razlagajo, kaj je stres, kako poteka in kako ga rešujemo. Na posameznika vplivajo različni dejavniki stresa. Posameznik stres zaznava na svojem delovnem mestu ali zunaj njega. Ko je posameznik pod stresom, začne zaznavati simptome stresa. Simptomi so različni, lahko so fiziološki, doživljajski ali vedenjski. Posledice stresa se pojavijo, ko je posameznik nekaj časa pod stresom in to vpliva nanj in na njegovo zdravje. Posameznik lahko občuti fiziološke, psihične in vedenjske posledice. Vsak posameznik mora nekako premagovati stres, ki ga občuti, zato smo predstavili strategije za premagovanje stresa. Strategije smo razdelili na raven posameznika in na raven organizacije.
V praktičnem delu magistrskega dela smo predstavili stres na delovnem mestu učitelja, zaposlenega v neki osnovni šoli. Zaposlenim učiteljem smo razdelili anketni vprašalnik in tako pridobili podatke o stresnosti njihovega delovnega mesta. Predstavljamo rezultate, ki smo jih o stresnosti delovnega mesta učitelja pridobili v izbrani osnovni šoli X, dejavnike stresa, simptome in posledice stresa, kako učitelji premagujejo stres na ravni posameznika in kakšne strategije ima za premagovanje stresa uvedene šola. Na koncu magistrskega dela smo predstavili ugotovitve in podali nekaj predlogov, ki se lahko uporabijo v praksi.

Stress is present in everyday life of an individual. Our pace of life is getting faster because of the increasing demands, which come from various factors in the surrounding. It is one of the major health hazards of modern times. Stress occurs at home and at work. Possible causes of stress at the workplace involve unregulated working conditions, too much or too little pressure, organizational factors, even harassment or violence.
We differentiate between natural and artificial stress. Different authors define stress according to different models, explaining stress, its process and stress management. The individual is influenced by different stress factors. An individual experiences stress in and out of the workplace. When an individual is under stress, he begins to show stress symptoms. The symptoms are different; they can be physiological, experiential or behavioral. The consequences of stress occur when an individual is stressed for a certain period of time. This influences him and his health. An individual can feel physiological, psychological and behavioral consequences. Every individual has to be able to deal with stress, which is why several strategies of stress management have been introduced. These strategies can be divided based on the individual and the organization.
The practical part of the dissertation deals with stress at the workplace of an elementary school teacher. Employed teachers were given a questionnaire in order to obtain information about stress at their workplace. The dissertation presents the acquired results about stress at the workplace of a teacher at the selected elementary school X, stress factors, symptoms, the consequences of stress, how teachers individually overcome stress, and what kind of stress management strategies the school can offer. Finally, the dissertation presents the findings and offers suggestions that can be used in practice. |
