Abstract

Teoretično izhodišče: Preobremenjenost in stalen stres sta pogosto spremljevalca študenta zdravstvene nege na dodiplomski stopnji zaradi težavnosti programa in veliko klinične prakse. Raziskovalna metodologija in metode: V zaključnem delu smo uporabili deskriptivno in kvantitativno metodo dela.

Secondary title: Nursing student overload as risk factor for burnout syndrom
Secondary abstract: Theoretical starting point: Overload and constant stress are often accompanied by a nursing student at an undergraduate study program due to heavy program and a lot of clinical practice. Recent research suggests that students don't know how to reduce overload and this results in burnout syndrome characteristics such as psychological and physical exhaustion. The purpose of the research was to check whether the students were overloaded, how this overload affect them and if students overload represents risk factor for burnout syndrome. Research methodology: In the final part we used the descriptive and quantitative method of work. We conducted a survey with an anonymous questionnaire of the semi-open type in which it participated 120 nursing students at the undergraduate level. Results: With the results of the research, we could confirm that nursing students are overloaded and that a large proportion of them feel psychological and physical exhaustion. We have also found that students are most concerned about learning for exams and exams, clinical practice and lack of free time which in their opinion has a predominantly negative impact. We also found that nursing students agree that overload is a risk factor for the development of burnout syndrome and that students can develop burnout syndrome during study years. Decision: The nursing students overload and burnout syndrome is a problem that has just begun to research, but it should be dealt with on a number of occasions as it may have a negative impact on the health of nursing students.
