ali o svobodi in stereotipih v sodobnem romanu
Abstract
Diplomska naloga v ospredje postavlja subjektivno izkušnjo časa in prostora, kot ga doživljata senegalski protagonist v Udarcih usode Amarja Samba in slovenska protagonistka v V visoki travi Gabriele Babnik. Pri tem kritično presoja družbene okoliščine, predvsem postkolonializem (naslanja se na pomembnejše teoretike, na primer Fanona, Saida, McClintock, Hulma ter Jeffsa) in gibanje noireizem oziroma négritude movement. Skozi definicijo stereotipnega odstira njegove vzroke in posledice, med katerimi poudarja enodimenzionalnost spolnih vlog - prikaza žensk in moških, mater in očetov v stereotipom zapriseženi skupnosti.

The thesis focuses on the subjective experience of time and space as experienced by the senegalese protagonist in Amar Samb's Matraqué par le destin ou la vie d'un talibé and slovenian protagonist in Gabriela Babnik's V visoki travi. The thesis is critically assessing the social circumstances, in particular, postcolonialism (with referencing theorists, such as Fanon, Said, McClintock, Hulme and Jeffs) and noireism or négritude movement. By defining stereotypes, it unveils its causes and effects, which include one dimensional characteristics of social and gender roles of women and men, mothers and fathers in a community that pledged to stereotypes. |
