Abstract

Secondary abstract: The thesis deals with the interdisciplinary research of the historic and literary value of diaries and memoirs of Slovenian soldiers, that fought on the battlegrounds of the Isonzo front. Based on a proposed theoretic analysis the chosen works show to what extent and in which ways the authors drift between writing history and creating literary works - in other words: to what extent the works are either emotionally-aesthetic reflections or historic documentary evidence.
