Ženski liki v literaturi Elfriede Jelinek

Abstract

V diplomski nalogi primerjam šest literarnih oseb (Sneguljčico, Trnjulčico, Jackie Kennedy, Sylvio Plath, Ingeborg Bachmann in Eriko Kohut) iz dramskega besedila Drame princes I-V in romana Učiteljica klavirja ,ter iščem njihove vzporednice. Pri vseh protagonistkah se pojavljajo motivi nefunkcionalnih odnosov, ki vplivajo na njihovo dojemanje spolnosti in nasilja. Avtorica preko nesamostojnih in podrejenih likov žensk demistificira enakopravnost med spoloma v sodobni demokratični družbi. Ženske so tako nesposobne osamosvojitve in izstopa iz zanje predhodno predpisanih vlog patriarhata.

Secondary abstract:	In my thesis, I compare six literary figures (Snow white, Sleeping beauty, Jackie Kennedy, Sylvia Plath, Ingeborg Bachmann and Erika Kohut) from the play Princess Dramas: Death and the Maiden and the novel The piano teacher by Elfriede Jelinek. All protagonists live in dysfuncitional relashionships that affect their perception of sexuality and violence. Through the indiscriminate and subordinate characters of women, the author demistifies gender equality in modern democratic society. Women are incapable of gaining independence and withdrawing from the previously prescribed roles of patriarchy.
