mesec želja
Abstract
Participacija otrok je pedagoški koncept in eden izmed temeljnih načel Konvencije o otrokovih pravicah, po katerem ima otrok pravico izraziti svoje želje in stališča pri vseh zadevah, ki vplivajo na njegovo življenje (Hart 1992; po Rutar, 2013). V diplomski nalogi je predstavljeno, kateri dejavniki vplivajo na participacijo, kako je koncept participacije otrok vpeljan v slovenske vrtce ter kakšna stališča imajo do koncepta zaposleni v slovenskih vrtcih. Teoretskemu delu sledi opis projekta »Mesec želja«, ki so ga oblikovali otroci s svojimi željami. Preko projekta so otroci dokazali, da so sposobni podrobno izraziti svoje želje. Z dnevnim izpolnjevanjem želja so ugotovili, da se jim bodo le-te uresničile, zato so začeli o njih še intenzivneje razmišljati in jih izpopolnjevati. Med seboj so se spraševali o izraženih željah in se veselili prihajajočih dni.
Otroci so svoje želje izražali različno. Nekateri so takoj vedeli, kaj si želijo, drugi so potrebovali več časa, da so premislili o svoji izbiri dnevne aktivnosti. Nekaj otrok je v Mesecu želja videlo priložnost ponovno izvesti dejavnost, ki so jo v vrtcu že opravili, večina jih je želelo poskusiti nekaj novega (prodajanje solate, kino dan, peka piškotov, …). Otroci so bili pri vseh dejavnostih izjemno motivirani, nasmejani in radovedni, čigav dan je in kaj bodo počeli v vrtcu.

Participation of children is a pedagogical concept based on the Convention on the rights of the child, signed in Slovenia in 1992. In the graduate thesis, we will present the factors influencing children participation, how the concept of child participation is introduced in Slovenian kindergartens, and what opinion do employees have on the concept. Theoretical part is followed by a description of the project "Mesec želja", which illustrates the participation of children in choosing daily activities in kindergarten. Through the project, children proved that they are able to express their wishes. With the daily fulfillment of wishes, they realized that wishes will indeed come true, so they began to think about them even more intensely to perfect them. They marvel at the wishes of each other and looked forward to the coming days.
Children expressed their wishes differently. Some immediately knew what they wanted, others needed more time to reflect on their choices of daily activity. Some children saw in Mesec želja a chance to re-engage in the activities they had already done in the kindergarten, but most of the them wanted to try something new (selling salad, cinema day, baking cookies, ...). Children were extremely motivated in all activities, smiling and wondering whose day is and what will we do in kindergarten. |
