Abstract

V diplomski nalogi Dramatizacija romana Prevzetnost in pristranost v izvedbi Anton Podbevšek Teatra so s podrobnim pregledom romana Jane Austen, Prevzetnost in pristranost, in z analizo predstave, zasnovane na podlagi le-tega, predstavljene dramatizacija romana in značilnosti estetike performativnega, povzete po monografiji Erike Fischer-Lichte, Estetika performativnega. S primerjavo pojmov iz monografije in predstave sta se pokazala tudi sam koncept in delovanje Anton Podbevšek Teatra, kjer je bila predstava zasnovana in uprizorjena. S pojmi, ki jih je opisala Fischer-Lichtejeva, sem v svoji monografiji pokazala postopke, ki jih pri delu uporablja režiser Matjaž Berger.

Secondary abstract: The thesis "Dramatisation of the novel Pride and Prejudice performed by Anton Podbevšek Teater" outlines dramatisation of Jane Austen's novel "Pride and Predjudice", where outline is drawn on the detailed analysis of the novel Jane Austen: Pride and Prejudice and of the performance, which is based on this novel. Thesis includes illustratios of characteristics of performative aesthetics from works of Erika Fischer-Lichte "The Transformative Power of Performance -A New Aesthetics". By compariing the concepts described in Fisher-Lichte's book with those displayed in the staging of the novel, the thesis shows fundamental idea and work of Anton Podbevšek Teater, the theater that designed and staged performance based on the novel. With the concepts described in the Fischer-Lichte's book the thesis also points out processes used at work by theatre's director Matjaž Berger.
