(diplomsko delo)

Abstract

Raziskovalna metodologija: Uporabili smo opisno (deskriptivno) metodo dela in kvantitativno metodo raziskovanja. Anketni vprašalnik je vseboval 15 vprašanj. Raziskovalni vzorec je zajemal 100 anketiranih od tega 56 žensk in 44 moških starih do 20 let. Pridobljene rezultate smo obdelali s pomočjo računalniškega programa Excel in jih prikazali z grafi.

Statistics of use of licit and illicit drugs is registered in the yearly European report. In young adults, use of new psychoactive substances is growing while precise effect of those new drugs on human organism is not yet fully established. It is even more important to recognize symptoms of an emerging drug addiction in a young person. In this paper, various aspects of use of licit and illicit drugs most commonly used by young adults are introduced with regards to sex and age relevance of the users. Research methodology: Descriptive work method and quantitative research method has been used. A survey containing 15 questions has been addressed to a focus group of 100 people aged up to 20 years, 56 of which were female and 44 were male. The results have been processed and presented with charts using Excel computer program. Hypothesis has been confirmed with the use of SPSS version 23 program. Results: Research showed that the overall awareness of young adults on the consequence of drug use is high, nevertheless, 81 % of the interviewees responded affirmatively on the question of whether they have tried any licit or illicit drug before. Most widely used licit drug among young adults is caffeine, followed by alcohol and tobacco. As expected, cannabis has proven to be the most widely used illicit drug among young adults. According to the survey results, the majority of young adults try an illicit substance out of curiosity about its effect.
