Abstract

V tem diplomskem delu je bil obravnavan potok Šklendrovec, na katerem so bili opravljeni vsi potrebni parametri za izračun pretoka, ter vodnega padca. Na podlagi teh izračunov, je bila ugotovljena smiselnost postavitve sistema male oz. mikro hidroelektrarne. Visok vodni padec, ter relativno velik pretok, dajeta vodotoku izjemen energetski potencial. Izbran je bil Pelton tip turbine, ter ustrezen generator. Izdelano je bilo tudi drevo okvar, s katerim je možno približno ugotoviti, kdaj se bo določen mehanski del na sistemu mikro hidroelektrarne okvaril. Z empiričnimi formulami so predstavljeni tudi stroški postavitve sistema na vodotoku, s katerimi je ugotovljeno, da bi se investicija povrnila že v dobrih petih letih.

Secondary title: Potential for the use of water energy on the Šklendrovec stream
Secondary abstract: In this thesis the Šklendrovec Stream was considered, in which all necessary parameters for the calculation of the flow and water drop were performed. On the basis of these calculations, it was established how reasoanable is construction of the system of a small or micro hydroelectric power plant. A high waterfall, and a relatively large flow, give the watercourse an exceptional energy potential. Pelton type of turbine was selected, and also a suitable generator was choosen. A fault tree analysis, with which it is possible to determine approximately when a particular mechanical part of the micro-hydroelectric power plant will be damaged is also innvolved in hise thesis. Empirical formulas also present the costs of installing a system on a watercourse, which found that the investment would be repaid already within five years.
