Abstract

V diplomskem delu primerjamo štiri šifrirne algoritme, ki jih uporabljajo kriptovalute. Na začetku na kratko predstavimo zgodovino uporabe šifriranja in kako se je razvijalo, ter načine šifriranja v informacijski tehnologiji. Nato predstavimo delovanje tehnologije veriženja blokov. Sledi predstavitev štirih šifrirnih algoritmov, kjer vsakega predstavimo in opišemo delovanje. Na koncu diplomskega dela analiziramo več pogledov tega, kaj smo izvedeli, preizkusimo delovanje v praksi in to prikažemo.

Secondary abstract: In this diploma thesis we are comparing four cryptographic algorithms, that are used by cryptocurrencies. At the beginning, we briefly present history of encryption usage and how it evolved and also encryption methods in information technology. Then we present how blockchain tehcnology functions, followed by presentation of four cryptographic algorithms, as we present each one of them and describe how they function. At the end of our diploma work, we analyze aspects of what we have learned and try out how it works followed by presentation of that.
