Vpliv talne podlage na obnašanje uhlevljenih konj, kakovost zraka v boksu in ekonomiko reje

Abstract

Glavni namen dela je bil ugotoviti, kako sistem z gumijastimi podlogami in minimalnim nastiljem vpliva na obnašanje konj, kakovost zraka v hlevu in ekonomiko reje v primerjavi s sistemom brez gumijastih podlog in 5 cm nastilja. Raziskava je potekala na Pedagoško raziskovalnem centru za konjerejo PRC Krumperk. V njej je sodelovalo osem lipicanskih konj – dva žrebca, tri kobile in trije kastrati. Obnašanje smo spremljali štiri tedne, in sicer posredno prek kamer vsak dan od 22. do 6. ure. V istem obdobju smo ob oskrbovanju konj (dvakrat na dan) beležili trajanje čiščenja boksa, porabo žagovine, temperaturo, vlago ter vsebnost amonijaka, vodikovega sulfida in ogljikovega dioksida. Ugotovili smo, da je bilo pri konjih v sistemu gumijastih podlog z vidika obnašanja več raziskovanja okolja, komfortnega obnašanja z nego in počivanja v ležečem položaju, pogosteje pa je potekalo tako uriniranje kot tudi blatenje. Kakovost zraka je bila pri obeh načinih normalna. Z ekonomskega vidika pa smo ugotovili, da pri sistemu gumijastih podlog zmanjšamo stroške žagovine in zaradi krajšega trajanja čiščenja boksa tudi stroške dela. Donosnost investicija v gumijaste podlage se giblje med -3,66 % in 20,98 % odvisno od časa, ki ga konj preživi v boksu oziroma v izpustu.

Secondary title:	The impact of the floor base on the behaviour of housed horses, quality of air in the box and the economics of farming
Secondary abstract:	The main purpose of this work was to determine how the system with rubber pads and minimal bedding affects the behavior of horses, the quality of the air in the stable and the economy of farming compared to the system without rubber pads and 5 cm of the bedding. The research was conducted at the farm research center PRC Krumperk. It included 8 Lipizzaner horses, of which two stallions, 3 mares and 3 castrates. We monitored the behavior for four weeks, indirectly through cameras every day from 22:00 to 6:00. During the same period, during the supply of horses (twice a day) we recorded the duration of box cleaning, sawdust consumption, temperature, humidity and the content of ammonia, hydrogen sulphide and carbon dioxide. We found out that in the system of rubber pads there were more research into the environment, comfortable behavior with grooming and lying, and more frequent urination and blasting. The air quality was normal in both systems. From an economic point of view, however, we have found that in the rubber pads system we reduce the costs of sawdust and due to the short duration of the cleaning of the box, also the labor costs. The return on investment in pads ranges between -3.66% and 20.98% depending on the time spent by the horse in boxing or in the discharge.
