Abstract

Namen diplomskega dela je prikazati in primerjati različne ponudnike naprav in storitev, ki se uporabljajo pri avtomatizaciji sistemov. Celotno raziskovanje je bilo izvedeno na spletu. Izvedena je primerjava različnih programirljivih logičnih krmilnikov glede na različne lastnosti in protokole, ki jih imajo. Ni jasnega zmagovalca, so samo najboljši glede na potrebe posameznega sistema. Predstavljeni so tudi najbolj znani ponudniki programske opreme za obdelavo podatkov, med katerimi prav tako ni nobeden izstopal. Pri primerjavi oblačnih storitev se Amazon Web Services izkaže kot najboljša in najbolj priljubljena izbira. Na realnem primeru pa je predstavljen sistem kompostnika iz kompostarne podjetja Simbio, d. o. o.

Secondary abstract: The purpose of this work is to introduce and compare different providers of devices and services used in automation of systems. The entire research was conducted online. Comparison was made between different programmable logical controllers (PLC) with each other, based on various properties and the protocols they support. There was no clear overall winner, simply the best one, based on the requirements of system being built. I also introduced the most well-known providers of data processing software, as with the PLC's, none stood out. When comparing cloud services, Amazon Web Services are represented as the best and the most popular choice. For a real world application, I presented a compost processing plant owned by Simbio d.o.o.
