Abstract

Transport velja za eno izmed najstarejših panog, njegova pomembnost pa je iz dneva v dan večja. Potreba po izvajanju transportnih storitev narašča, kar pomeni, da je potrebno transport ustrezno načrtovati. Samo načrtovanje transporta pa obsega tudi načrtovanje transportnih stroškov, ki posledično nastajajo. Podjetja si prizadevajo za izvajanje kakovostnih transportnih storitev z zmanjšanjem transportnih stroškov, kar dosegajo z optimizacijo transportnih poti in uvajanjem informacijskih rešitev, ki podpirajo izvedbo učinkovitih procesov transporta. V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela bomo opredelili ključne značilnosti transporta, stroškov in informatizacije, Prav tako bomo predstavili bistvene funkcionalnosti programske rešitve PTV. V praktičnem delu bomo opravili analizo trenutnega stanja v podjetju, potem bomo pripravili posnetek stanja, ki ga bomo ustrezno argumentirali in zapisali ugotovitve.

Secondary abstract:	Transport is considered as one of the oldest industries and it's importance is increasing day by day. Namely, the need for the provision of transport services is increasing, which means that the transport needs to be properly planned. The planning of transport itself also includes the planning of transport costs which are consequently generated. Companies strive to provide quality transport services by reducing transport costs, which is achieved by optimizing transport routes and introducing information solutions that support the implementation of efficient transport processes. In the theoretical part of the diploma work we will define the key characteristics of transport, costs and informatization. We will also present the essential functionalities of the software solution of PTV. In the practical part, we will conduct an analysis of the current situation in the company, then we will prepare a snapshot of the situation, which will be adequately reasoned and recorded the findings.
