Portal mesta Maribor: Idejna zasnova nebotičnika

Abstract

Magistrsko delo obravnava prostorsko problematiko območja ob bivši kaznilnici KPD in nakupovalnem središču Europark. Z ozirom na teoretska izhodišča, kvalitativne analize in sodobne arhitekturne pristope stremi k revitalizaciji območja. Nebotičnik, ki ga kot intervenčni element umeščamo v novo zasnovanem območju KPD, bo ob najvitalnejši prometni vpadnici Titovi cesti v povezavi z obstoječimi objekti, generiral nov portal mesta Maribor in ponudil reprezentativno dominanto prostora.

Secondary abstract:	The thesis deals with the spatial problematics of the area along the former KPD penitentiary and the shopping center Europark. With regard to the theoretical bases, the qualitative analyzes and the use of modern architectural approaches it aims to revitalize the area. The intervention of the skyscraper as a new element along the most vital traffic route Titova cesta, will in relation to the existing buildings generate a new portal of the city of Maribor as a representative space dominant.
