Arhitekturna prenova mestnega središča Gornje Radgone

Abstract

Magistrsko delo predstavlja idejno zasnovo mestnega središča Gornje Radgone skozi prenove območja obeh avtobusnih postaj. Čeprav je Gornja Radgona manjše mesto, ima na razdalji 100 metrov dve večji avtobusni postaji, manjka pa mu definirano mestno središče. Glavna avtobusna postaja se nahaja na Prešernovi cesti, nekoliko manjša postaja pa ob Panonski ulici, mimo katere je speljana železniška proga, v neposredni bližini pa se nahaja železniška postaja, ki pa ne služi več svojemu namenu. Območje glavne avtobusne postaje s svojimi parkirnimi površinami, zgodovinskimi in uradnimi objekti, ki jo obdajajo, služi kot neuradno središče mesta. Dotrajana avtobusna postaja in neurejene parkirne površine neprimerno in neugledno predstavljajo center mesta, zato je potrebno mestnemu središču Gornje Radgone dati novo namembnost. V naši magistrski nalogi bomo, na podlagi dobljenih rezultatov arhitekturne analize podali konkretno rešitev za preoblikovanje in vnos novih vsebin za kvalitetnejši mestni center Gornje Radgone. Z novo oblikovanim glavnim trgom in večnamenskim objektom (kulturnim centrom in spremljajočimi programi), dobimo na območju trenutne glavne avtobusne postaje prostor, ki bo dal centru novo identiteto. Novo zasnovani glavna avtobusna in železniška postaja bosta umeščeni ob sedanjo železniško postajo, ki se bo ohranila. Z novo oblikovanim kulturnim centrom in avtobusno ter železniško postajo je potrebna tudi sprememba prometne infrastrukture.

Secondary abstract:	The masters thesis represents the conceptual design of Gornja Radgonas city center, through the renovation of both bus stations areas. Although Gornja Radgona is a small town, it has two major bus stops at a distnace of 100 meters, but a defined city center is missing. The main bus station is located on Prešerenova Street, while a slightly smaller station is placed along Panonska Street, where the railway line runs and in the immediate vicinity there is a railway station that no longer serves its purpose. The space of the main bus station with parking areas, surrounded by historical and official buildings, serves as the informal center of the city. An outdated bus station and unregulated parking lots, does not suit the city center, so the center of Gornja Radgona should be given a new function. In our master thesis, based on the results of the architectural analysis, we would give concrete solutions for transforming and input a new content and more quality city center of Gornja Rardgona city. With a newly designed main square and multipurpose facility (cultural center and accompanying programs) in the area of the current main bus station we get a space that will give the center a new identity. The newly designed main bus and train station will be located next to the existing railway station which will be preserved. Due to the newly created cultural center and the bus and train stations, we will also need to change the transport infrastructure.
