Širitev terorizma in poostritev nadzora na schengenskem območju

Abstract

Terorizem se ni rodil pred stoletji ali tisočletji, terorizem smo rodili ljudje. Prav zato lahko rečemo, da je star toliko kot človeštvo in raste ter se razvija skupaj z nami. Beseda terorizem ali terorist prebudi v nas strah in skrb po obvarovanju ter zaščiti svojih bližnjih, pred očmi se nam prikažejo slike, s katerimi nas vsakodnevno preplavljajo mediji. Teroristični napadi, ki so postali že stalnica, so zajeli tudi Evropo. Države članice EU so uvidele, da morajo pri problematiki nezakonitega priseljevanja in vedno večji ogroženosti s strani terorističnih napadov v Evropi stopiti skupaj. Podpisanih je bilo več pogodb v povezavi s tem, najpomembnejša pa je Pogodba o schengenskem območju. Države pogodbenice se dandanes soočajo s problematiko glede poostritve nadzora na zunanjih schengenskih mejah, saj se k nam priseljuje vedno več migrantov, hkrati pa tudi povečuje stopnja nevarnosti za napade, predvsem teroristične. Ali je to dvoje povezano, lahko le ugibamo, vsekakor pa si želimo živeti čim mirneje in varneje. V nadaljevanju želim podrobneje predstaviti terorizem in kar je z njim povezano, ter kakšne ukrepe je glede tega in glede varnosti svojih državljanov sprejela Evropa. Analizirala bom razvoj terorizma in predstavila najpomembnejše pogodbe, ki so pripeljale do podpisa schengenske pogodbe. Diplomsko delo in tema sta namenjena vsem, ki jih zanima izbrana tematika ter ostalim, ki si želijo izvedeti več o razvoju in širitvi terorizma predvsem na naše ozemlje, ozemlje Evrope.

Secondary abstract:	Terrorism did not start centuries or millenniums ago, humanity created it. That's why we can state, that it's as old as humanity and it evolves with us. The word terrorism or terrorist awakens in us fear and the urge to protect our loved ones. In front of our eyes we visualize images that swamp the media daily. Terrorist attacks which already became constancy, have also seizure Europe. The EU Member States have realized that they have to come together if they want to solve the problem with illegal immigration problem and the increasing threat of terrorist attacks in Europe. Several treaties have been signed in connection with this matter, but the Schengen Treaty is the most important one. Contracting States are currently facing the problem of reinforcement of the external Schengen borders, as more and more migrants are immigrating while at the same time threat of attacks, especially terrorist attacks, increases. Whether the two facts are connected can only be guessed, but in any case, we wish to live as calmly and safely as possible. In the following I want to present terrorism in a more detailed way, what is related to it and what kind of measures have been taken by the European Union in terms of security. I will analyze the development of terrorism and presented the most important contracts that led to the signing of the schengen agreement. The diploma thesis and the theme are intended for all those who are interested in the chosen topic, as well as for those who want to learn more about the development and expansion of terrorism, especially in our territory, the territory of Europe.
