Abstract

Secondary title: Proposal of Introduction Industry 4.0 into Company Arcont d.d.
Secondary abstract: In the master's thesis, the subject of Industry 4.0 is discussed. The basic features and technologies of this concept are described and the components of the smart factory are presented. Opportunity for the introduction of Industry 4.0 is also reflected in the production of accommodation units, where the problem is mainly the paper management of assembly works, which does not allow a quick response to detected changes and errors, while manual control of intermediate stocks is also time-consuming. To this end, a proposal for digital RFID tracking and monitoring of three assembly lines, including the management of intermediate stocks, is presented based on the analysis of the three existing assembly processes (bases, roofs and accommodation units). Based on the findings, the company would have the capability to collect and analyse data of assembly lines in real time, the responses to changes and errors would be faster, and the stock of intermediate warehouses could be digitally monitored.
