(magistrsko delo)
Abstract
S pomočjo Likertove lestvice smo pridobili ocene posameznih stopenj simulacije. Priprava sistema: 4,85; delovanje sistema: 4,75; monitoring sistema: 4,9.
Diskusija: Medicinske sestre so odgovorne za delovanje in uporabo sistema za inhalacijsko sedacijo. S pomočjo simulacije smo udeležence simulacije poučili o uporabi in razumevanju tega sistema. Udeleženci so visoko ocenili tak način edukacije in si jih v prihodnje želijo več.

Simulation of the use of the system for inhalation sedation »AnaConDa« in the intensive care unit |
Secondary abstract: |
Introduction: In-situ simulations are specific types of simulations that take place in a real clinical environment in order to achieve the most realistic and precise environment. »AnaConDa« (anaesthetic conserving device) is a medical device that is safe, reliable and cost-effective, and allows inhalation sedation in the intensive care unit. The main goal of the master's thesis was to prepare the starting points for the preparation of work instruction.
Methods: In the empirical part we used the experimental method of work using a simulation model. The patient represented the Laerdal Airway Mangement Trainer simulator. In the use of medical devices that allow inhalation sedation, we limited ourselves to the products of the Swedish company Sedana Medical, »AnaConDa«.
Results: We simulated the preparation, operation and monitoring of the inhalation sedation system »AnaConDa«. We also wrote comments from the participant of the simulation. Using the Likert scale, we obtained estimates of individual simulation levels. System preparation: 4.85; system operation: 4.75; system monitoring: 4.9.
Discussion: Nurses are responsible for the operation and use of the inhalation sedation system. Using the simulation, we educate participants about the use and understanding of this system. The participants highly rated this kind of education and want more education in the future through simulations. The simulator enabled the implementation of all three levels of simulation.
Conclusion: In Slovenia, more emphasis could be placed on education through simulations. Participants of the simulations would gain additional knowledge that would be transferred to practice and would perform more varied procedures and interventions in the workplace more confidently. |
