Abstract

Delo opisuje in prikazuje izdelavo ilustriranega zemljevida. V prvem delu raziščemo osnovne konvencije kartografije in načela v grafičnem oblikovanju in ilustraciji, ki so koristna za izdelavo ilustriranega zemljevida. V okviru dela izdelamo ilustriran zemljevid, ki vsebuje več kot 30 avtorskih ilustracij. V drugem delu opišemo in prikažemo izdelavo ilustriranega zemljevida. Teoretični del vključimo v praktični del tako, da pojasnjujemo praktične odločitve z teoretičnim znanjem iz prvega dela naloge. V delu poskušamo prikazati dodatne možnosti, ki nam jih ponuja ilustriran zemljevid in kje nas ta vrsta zemljevidov omejuje.

Secondary title: Designing an illustrated map in theory and practice
Secondary abstract: The work describes and shows the making of a pictorial map. In the first part, we explore the basic conventions of cartography and the principles of graphic design and illustration that are useful for the production of a pictorial map. As part of the work, we created a map containing more than 30 original illustrations. In the second part, we describe the production of a pictorial map. The theoretical part is included in the practical part by explaining practical decisions with the theoretical knowledge from the first part of the work. We are trying to show the additional options that the pictorial map offers and how this type of map is limiting our options.
