Abstract

V zaključni nalogi obravnavamo postopek načrtovanja in vzpostavitve merilnega sistema za merjenje karakteristik vodnih turbin. V delu je prikazano, kako se merilni sistem načrtuje in na podlagi načrtov se poveže merilno progo, ki omogoča meritev karakteristik turbine. Merilno preizkuševališče je prirejeno za Peltonovo in aksialno turbino. V delu je prikazano kako se v merilni sistem povežejo senzorji za tlak, frekvenco in silo. Najprej smo diagnosticirali stanje obstoječega merilnega preizkuševališča, ter ocenili, da je na njem preklop med obema turbinama zelo težaven. Dalje smo na načrtovali nadgradnjo merilnega sistema. Pri nadgradnji smo povezali senzorje in merilno kartico v smiselno celoto, ki omogoča fleksibilnost in menjavo obeh turbin čim hitreje. Po končani povezavi merilnega sistema smo preverili delovanje. Ko smo se prepričali, da senzorji znotraj sistema delujejo pravilno smo izvedli testno meritev, ki je pokazala, da sistem pravilno deluje.

Secondary title: Experimental validation of operational characteristics of water turbines
Secondary abstract: The thesis deals with the process of planning and constructing a measuring system that is adapted for Pelton and axial turbine. Further it is shown how measuring system is designed, how data acquisition of measuring data is designed and what the protocol of determining operational characteristics of water turbines are. This measuring system is specifically designed for Pelton and axial turbine. The thesis also shows how pressure, frequency and gauge sensors are connected to a measuring system. Firstly, the current state of the measuring system was diagnosed. It was estimated that the current system is unable to quickly switch between Pelton and axial turbine. Secondly, the upgrade of the measuring system was planned. In the process of the upgrade all the sensors and the data acquisition card were connected into a manageable order. Once the measuring system was connected, it was tested if working correctly. When we were sure all the sensors in the measuring system were working properly, final tests were run to show the proper functioning of the system and operational characteristics of both observed turbines.
