Abstract

V diplomskem delu sem se ukvarjal s študijem vpliva različnega deleža niklja na mikrostrukturo in s tem na mehanske lastnosti aluminijevih bronov. Ugotovil in uporabil sem ustrezne metode metalografske priprave vzorcev iz brona in načine kvalitativne in kvantitativne metalografske analize. Določil sem vrste mikrostrukturnih sestavin in delež β-faze. Izvedli smo natezne preskuse pri sobni in povišani temperaturi, udarne preizkuse in meritve trdote. Ugotovil sem povezavo med deležem niklja in trdoto, ter povezavo z drugimi trdnostnimi lastnostmi (natezno trdnostjo in udarno žilavostjo pri sobni ter pri povišani temperaturi).

Secondary abstract: In this diploma work, I have studied the effect of nickel content on the microstructure and mechanical properties of aluminum bronzes. I found and used appropriate methods of metallographic sample preparation for given bronzes and performed qualitative and quantitative metallographic analysis. I have evaluated types of microstructural constituents and content of the primary β phase. We have performed tensile and Charpy impact tests at room and elevated temperature (550 °C). We have also performed hardness measurements and found correlations between nickel content and mechanical properties.
