Abstract

Diplomsko delo z naslovom Vključenost ljudskega izročila v plesno vzgojo predšolskih otrok obsega teoretični in empirični del. Podatke smo pridobili s pomočjo spletne ankete vzgojiteljev in jih kvantitativno obdelali s pomočjo deskriptivne metode.

Secondary title: Incorporating folk heritage into dance education of preschool children
Secondary abstract: Diploma paper titled Incorporating folk heritage into dance education of preschool children comprises theoretical and empirical part. For the needs of empirical part we researched goals, contents and methods of dance education which intertwine with children's folk heritage in the theoretical part. We described elements of children's folk heritage which teachers can include into their weekly work plans. In the empirical part we researched the influences of acquainting children with folk heritage and folk dances and consequently the meaning of children folk groups in the development and dance ability of a child. We were interested in researching why children's folk heritage and the enrichment activity of folklore are important factors of dance education. We gained information with the help of the Internet poll among pre-school teachers; the results were quantitatively processed with a descriptive method. We established that carrying out the enrichment activity of folklore is one of the easiest ways to bring children close to Slovene folk heritage. Children welcome children's folk heritage positively and motive-dance activities encourage children's creative thinking, emotional experiencing and offer a vast range of possibilities for acquainting with folk songs, folk dances, tales, customs and habits. Preserving and recreating folk heritage in pre-school education is extremely important and it is most easily transferred through dance education.
