Abstract

Predsedniško kampanjo Donalda Trumpa v letih 2015 in 2016 marsikdo označuje za zgodovinsko. O njej je pisala večina svetovnih medijev, ti pa so še posebno pozornost posvetili Trumpovi rabi Twitterja, ki je predstavljala velik del njegove kampanje. V magistrskem delu so opredeljeni tako tradicionalni množični mediji kot tudi spletni mediji in družbena omrežja. Družbenemu omrežju Twitter je v magistrskem delu namenjena dodatna pozornost, ki je pripomogla pri analizi Trumpovih tvitov. Opredeljene so tudi komunikacijske in politične kampanje. Na podlagi teorije je drugi del magistrskega dela namenjen analizi vpliva Trumpovih tvitov, ki so tvorili sestavni del Trumpove predsedniške kampanje.

Secondary title: The impact of Donald Trump`s tweets to understanding his presidential campaign
Secondary abstract: Donald Trump's presidential campaign in 2015 and 2016 was by many considered historical. Practically all of the global media wrote about it. They paid special attention to Trump's use of Twitter, which represented a significant portion of his campaign. Both traditional and web mass media are defined in the master's thesis, as well as online media and social networks. Twitter's social network has received additional attention in the master's thesis, as a significant portion of the thesis is dedicated to an analysis of Trump's tweets. Both communication and political campaigns are also defined. On the theoretical front, the second part of the master's thesis analyses the influence of Trump's tweets, which formed an integral part of Trump's presidential campaign.
