Abstract

Izhodišča: Anemija zaradi pomanjkanja železa je ena izmed pogostih bolezenskih stanj v nosečnosti. Najpogosteje se pojavi zaradi povečane potrebe po železu. S prehrano z veliko železa in železovimi preparati, preprečujemo nastanek posledic pri materi in plodu. Namen diplomskega dela je ugotoviti prehranjevalne navade nosečnic z anemijo zaradi pomanjkanja železa. Raziskovalna metodologija: Uporabili smo kvantitativno metodologijo raziskovanja. Kot raziskovalni inštrument smo uporabili vprašalnik. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 30 nosečnic z anemijo zaradi pomanjkanja železa, ki so obiskale izbrani dispanzer za žene. Rezultati: Ugotovili smo, da 80 % nosečnic dobi dovolj informacij o prehrani bogati z železom. Nasvete o prehrani upošteva 50 % nosečnic. Enkrat na dan uživa meso 20 % nosečnic, sadje 47 % nosečnic, žita 23 % nosečnic, ter temno listnato zelenjavo 7 % nosečnic. 30 % nosečnic uživa ribe dvakrat na teden. Diskusija in zaključek: Raziskava pokaže, da nosečnice z anemijo zaradi pomanjkanja železa, delno upoštevajo priporočila o prehrani bogati z železom. Nadaljnje delo bi bilo smiselno usmeriti v prehranske delavnice v okviru dispanzerjev za žene. Zlasti zdravstveni delavci lahko s promocijo ustrezne prehrane v nosečnosti vplivajo na izboljšanje prehranjevalnih navad nosečnic.

Secondary abstract: Background: Iron deficiency anemia is one of the common diseases in pregnancy. It is most often to occur because of increased need for iron. With diet, which includes food with high concentration of iron and iron preparations, we prevent the consequences of mother and fetus. The purpose of our research was to present a healthy diet of pregnant women with iron deficiency anemia. Methodology: We used quantitative research methodology. As a research instrument we used a questionnaire. Our research involved 30 pregnant women with iron deficiency, who visited the dispansary for women. Results: We have found that 80 % of pregnant women receive enough information about diet rich in iron. 50 % of pregnant women consider the nutrition advices. Once a day 20 % of pregnant women enjoy meat, 47 % fruit, 23 % grains and 7 % dark leafy vegetables. 30 % of pregnant women enjoy fish twice a week. Conclusion: The study shows that pregnant women with iron deficiency anemia, partly consider recommendations about diet rich in iron. Further work would be useful to focus on the nutrition workshops in a dispansers for women. In particular, health workers are able to promote adequate nutrition during pregnancy, which can impact on the nutritional habits of pregnant women.
