organizacija in management informacijskih sistemov
Abstract
Velikost trga uporabnikov avtonomnih vozil, čezmejna uporaba sistemov najema in vključevanje različnih spremljajočih storitev na zahtevo presegajo možnosti današnjih konvencionalnih centraliziranih transakcijskih sistemov.
Prototipna aplikacija v krogu znanih identitet omogoča poslovno sodelovalno platformo medsebojno neodvisnih poslovnih subjektov z namenom omogočanja uporabnikom najemanja avtonomnega vozila, njegovo zavarovanje, morebitno plačevanje energentov in izkoriščanje nabora različnih spremljajočih poslovnih storitev.

Use of blockchain technology for renting autonomous vehicles |
Secondary abstract: |
Autonomous vehicles driving technology potential, will drastically change the entire transport industry, eliminates road accidents, reduces traffic congestion, lower the amount of all road vehicles and significantly contributes to a cleaner environment.
Beside technical advantages, we also discuss the new social element, since fully autonomous vehicles allow mobility to a particular segment of people who today have not been able to use this kind of mobility for various reasons. Fully autonomous vehicles also bring a significant change in the ownership model, by establishing a new model, Mobility On Demand. With the aim of autonomous transporting, ownership of an autonomous vehicle will no longer be imperative. Such a rental model brings many benefits to users, as there will be no need to take care of maintaining the autonomous vehicle or take care of parking at the time of non-use. Autonomous driving also brings to users of a novelty in the free time availability at the time of autonomous driving and the possibility of a specific activity or additional accompanying services that they cannot perform or receive today.
The size of the autonomous vehicle market and the cross-border use of rental systems, the integration of various on-demand services, exceeds the potential of today's conventional centralized transaction systems. The technology of decentralized systems for recording business transactions between different business entities scattered across different industries is blockchain technology.
Together with AV Living Lab, which organized a demonstration of an autonomous drive in the Ljubljana BTC City, we prepared a prototype application for renting and ensuring an autonomous vehicle, based on Hyperledger Fabric blockchain technology. A prototype application in a closed circle of known identities allows a business collaborative platform of mutually independent business entities to enable users to rent an autonomous vehicle, insure it for the renting time and include payment for energy products, with the exploitation of a variety of various additional on-demand services.
In the master's thesis, we conducted a survey among visitors of the event with a live demonstration of autonomous driving, which impresses their feelings after testing a level 4 autonomous driving vehicle. The purpose of the research was to obtain user perception to use autonomous driving and to gather new ideas for accompanying services at the request of the user while using an autonomous vehicle on demand. The results and analysis of the survey responses serve to evolve the development of the model and the inclusion of new services and business entities. |
