Abstract
Besedo pismenost razumemo oziroma jo uporabljamo na različnih področjih. Danes govorimo o slovnični, matematični, medijski, informacijski, energetski in še o marsikateri pismenosti. V zadnjem času pa se vedno bolj razvija pojem gibalna pismenost, ki jo vse bolj uvrščamo med ključne kompetence posameznika. Izraz je relativno nov, zato ga težko definiramo. Povezujemo ga s celovitim zdravim življenjskim slogom. Ko govorimo o gibalni pismenosti, govorimo o motivaciji, zaupanju, telesni usposobljenosti, znanju, razumevanju in prevzemanju odgovornosti za gibalne dejavnosti. Gibanje posameznika pomeni življenje in samo življenje je gibanje. Je torej človekova naravna in osnovna potreba. Namen magistrskega dela, ki temelji na teoriji, je preučiti gibalno pismenost otrok, telesni in gibalni razvoj otrok v Sloveniji in ugotoviti, kakšni so trendi gibalnega razvoja otrok skozi zgodovinski pregled. S pomočjo obstoječih virov se je želelo ugotoviti, kaj dejansko predstavlja in vključuje pojem gibalna pismenost, ter raziskovati, kako na omenjeni pojem gledajo pri nas in kako v tujini. Raziskovalna vprašanja v magistrskem delu izhajajo s področja gibalne pismenosti, dotikajo pa se tudi športno-vzgojnega kartona, po novem SLOfit, in v zadnjem času vedno bolj populariziranega mednarodnega projekta PHYSICAL Literacy - Gibalna pismenost, kar tudi daje težo aktualnosti teme samega magistrskega dela.

The term literacy can be interpreted and used in different ways. There are grammatical, mathematical, media, informational, energy and many other kinds of literacy known nowadays. In the last years, the concept of physical literacy is evolving and it is classified as one of the key competences of an individual. The term is relatively new and is therefore hard to define. It is linked with a healthy lifestyle as a whole. When we speak about physical literacy we mean motivation, trust, physical qualification, knowledge, understanding and taking responsibility for physical activities. Motoric abilities of an individual are the meaning of life, as life itself is movement. It is therefore a natural and basic human need. This master's thesis, based on a theory, consists of several chapters and in each subchapter focuses on a specific theme that is tightly related with physical literacy of children in the first educational period of elementary school. With the help of the existing literature we wanted to establish what the term physical literacy represents and includes, and to research how the term is projected in Slovenia and abroad. Research questions in the master's thesis originate from the area of physical literacy; they include the Sport Educational Card also known as SLOfit and international project PHYSICAL Literacy, whose popularity increased in the recent years. All of this combined makes the theme of the master's degree relevant. |
