Abstract

Slovenska vojska se že več let srečuje s kadrovskimi težavami, katerih učinkovito upravljanje je ključno za vzdrževanje ustrezne stopnje pripravljenosti in s tem za izvajanje njenega glavnega poslanstva, nacionalne vojaške obrambe. Da bi zagotovila izvajanje vseh zakonsko predpisanih nalog, mora Slovenska vojska s konkurenčno ponudbo dela na trgu delovne sile mlade motivirati k tovrstni poklicni izbiri in ustrezno popolniti svoj kader. V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge je cilj predstaviti Slovensko vojsko kot delodajalca v zaposlitveni krizi in njeno trenutno vojaško kadrovsko stanje ter opredeliti razvoj obramboslovja kot študija, razvitega za njene potrebe. Kakšen je interes študentov obramboslovja, vpisanih v študijskem letu 2017/2018, za zaposlitev v Slovenski vojski, kateri dejavniki na to vplivajo in kakšno kadrovsko politiko po mnenju študentov vodi Slovenska vojska, bo s pomočjo rezultatov kvantitativne raziskave analizirano v empiričnem delu.

Secondary title: Defence students’ motivation for employment in the Slovenian Armed Forces
Secondary abstract: The Slovenian Armed forces have been facing human resource problems for many years now, while its effective management is crucial for maintaining an appropriate level of readiness and consequently to carry out its main mission, national military defence. In order to ensure the fulfilment of all statutory tasks, the Slovenian Armed Forces must recruit and motivate young people to apply and choose this profession with a competitive job offer in the labor market. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the aim is to present the Slovenian Armed Forces as an employer in an employment crisis as well as current military personnel situation and define defence studies, as studies developed for its needs. What is the interest of defence students, enrolled in the academic year of 2017/2018, for employment in the Slovenian Armed Forces, which factors are influencing it and what is their perception of the human resource policy it is leading, will be analysed in the empirical part of the thesis, using the results of quantitative research.
