Secondary abstract: | Use of wind tunnels is important in the aerodynamics and for calibration of air velocity sensors. Its purpose is to generate a stable and homogenous air velocity field. In this thesis we verified the measuring system of the wind tunnel, which is used to determine air velocity in the measuring section. We verified the measuring equipment and the software and made final comparison with another air velocity meter. Despite some shortcomings, the measuring system is found to be suitable. Nevertheless, we made some suggestions for its improvement. |
