Abstract

V magistrskem delu so v teoretičnem in praktičnem smislu opredeljeni in opisani postopki, s katerimi se v orodnem jeklu X40CrMoV5-1 (W.Nr.: 1.2344) za delo v vročem pri strjevanju izločajo karbidi. Vzorci, katere smo preiskovali, so bili odvzeti iz dveh ingotov, ki sta bila dokončno obdelana s kovanjem. Pri enem ingotu je sledila visokotemperaturna homogenizacija, medtem ko drugi ingot ni bil homogeniziran. Osredotočili smo se predvsem na primarne karbide in sicer na parametre, ki vplivajo na njihovo nastajanje. V okviru eksperimentalnega dela smo najprej opravili izračune s pomočjo programske opreme Thermocalc, s čemer smo dobili podlage o predvideni konstituciji jekla, kasneje pa smo s svetlobno mikroskopsko in elektronsko-optično analizo glede na obliko in kemijsko sestavo ugotavljali vrsto karbidov. Prav tako pa smo z analizo EDS in rentgensko analizo kasneje natančno opredelili še tipe karbidov in sicer glede na kemijsko sestavo oz. vsebnost elementov ter njihovo kristalno strukturo.

Secondary abstract: In the master thesis are in theoretical and practical sense defined and described proceses by which in X40CrMoV5 – 1 (W.Nr.: 1.2344) hot work tool steel the carbides start to precipitate during solidification. Investigated specimens were taken from two ingots that were finally forged. First ingot was high temperature homogenized while the second was not. In the master thesis we focused especially on primary carbides and parameters that has an incluence on their precipitation. By experimental work we firstly made calculcations with Thermocalc program. This simulation gave us constitutial base to determine types of carbides that we discovered with scanning electron microscopy. We also used EDS and XRD to determine types of carbides in order to chemical composition and crystal structure.
